Tombow Tiger Cub

I made this little fuzz ball with my Tombow Duel Brush Pens.  I blended the colours mostly with the blender pen that comes with the kit rather than the water brush (which I purchased separately).  This gave me a darker, richer colour.  I was surprised as I hadn’t really used the blender pen very much and found that it works quite nicely, especially for smaller areas.

This is the first time I have used the Tombows to paint any wildlife and I’m still getting a feel for the pens.  I have to work really fast as the colours can dry very quickly and if you want to blend properly you have to work area by area.  I’m kind of used to just taking my time and layering all the dark colours over the entire animal first but with Tombows you can only work as I said in small areas at a time.  Anyway, the whole process is very fast and I started and finished this in only about 90 minutes or so.
